Sod, smiles and springtime for the eighth annual 518 Day of volunteerism

On March 16, 2025, The Troy Record arrived at Foreverly House to cover the United Way of the Greater Capital Region’s 8th Annual 518 Day Press Conference! As Brian Sano, volunteer and National Grid’s Director of Quality and Compliance Assurance in New York stated, “Today is a day for getting dirty!” The Veterans and Community Housing Coalition was proud to host National Grid and MVP as volunteers for the day as they built a playground and backyard for the children that will soon call Foreverly House home.
