Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)

SSVF is a program that provides case management and, at times, financial assistance to Veterans who are homeless or at risk of eviction. SSVF will help to re-house these Veterans and connect them with other community resources such as health care, legal services, public benefits, and ways to increase income.

VCHC’s SSVF program covers Saratoga, Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Schoharie, and Schenectady Counties.

To qualify for this program, a Veteran must want to live in one of the 7 counties VCHC covers, meet the income requirements, and have a discharge status other than Dishonorable or Bad Conduct with General Court Martial.
