Resident Assistant

This important role helps ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for Veterans in transition. The Resident Assistant supervises daily activities, provides transportation to appointments and housing tours, facilitates house meetings, supports apartment searches, enforces program policies, and assists with documentation and case management tasks. We’re looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, healthy boundaries, and a genuine commitment to helping Veterans rebuild stable, independent lives.

Qualifications:


High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in human services working directly with clients
Valid NYS Driver’s License with a clean driving record

Maintenance Worker

We’re looking for someone with general knowledge of building trades, mechanical skills, and experience working with machinery and power tools. This role works closely with our Facilities Manager to complete scheduled maintenance, prepare vacant apartments for new tenants, maintain property grounds, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure all systems are safe and fully operational.
The ideal candidate is physically capable (able to lift 50+ lbs.), professional in resident interactions, detail-oriented, and a strong team player with a solid work ethic. A valid NYS Driver’s License is required, and 1-3 years of maintenance or related experience (military experience welcome) is preferred.
