On April 24, 2025, United Way of the Greater Capital Region announced that the Veterans and Community Housing Coalition has been chosen as a 518 Day Recipient. May 16th, 2025 is 518 Day, the Capital Region’s largest day of community service! At Foreverly House, New York’s first home for homeless female veterans and their children, volunteers will build a backyard playground, so the kids have a safe place to play and grow.
